Not much going on right now with updates but there are some things going on behind the scenes and I wanted to show a little bit of what "we" are working on. All of this most likely will change since the design is not yet finalized but I thought it would be interesting to see what suggestions or opinions you guys had about this... I will be adding a Vertical Menu option to the home screen and it currently looks like this:
No ETA since it is very early stage but lots of you often have great ideas so please share them if you feel like it
I think it looks good and I like it though I may not be able to use it. I have several installs of Kodi in my home. For ease of use and less confusion I want the same skin on all installs. These include PC's, tablets and Android boxes. The touch screen on my tablets has never worked well with any skin other than CCM for Helix (mudislander). This is because the slide out blade can be tapped to open/close it! I use horizontal menus on them all because the vertical menus are horrible on a tablet.

I can do many things like using a different font and size for the submenu or slide the main menu offscreen to the left but in order to not have to cut a widget option I need to stay within that 450 pixel guideline. I also do not want to use a substantially smaller font size for the main menu to make things "fit".
Right now the things that are definite are a centered fixed main menu because that is the only way it will work with having 1 item or 100 and also that 450 pixel limit. Other than that it is all open to any suggestions or changes
Maybe you could have two different versions of this skin instead of toggling vertical/horizontal. The BIG reason I like this skin - The font's are great for my bad old (I'm 65) eyes and I can read everything from across the room on 40 inch, 55 inch TVs and the tablets as well!
Just some thoughts from one who uses your skin.... BTW - Great Skin!
