Release Aeon Nox: SiLVO
Minor bug, doesn't happen in Estuary so I assume its a skin problem - the Up Next addon gets it's buttons placed over the top of the image and text rather than underneath:

Image

I was using 6.1.6 from the repo so I cleared that out and grabbed the latest release from Github but still the same issue.  I was previously using the "Next Up" addon but that's now been marked 'Broken' with Up Next being it's replacement.

Second thing is that there's only a default view which is a vertical column of days on the left and the episodes on the right, horizonally:

  I'd like it to display so I can see the whole week at a glance, with the days in a row across the top...  sort of like this:

This is Confluence, I'm told.
 I haven't been able to get 'Next Aired' to display anything... ever.  Is the key to getting it to work for you using AD AND AB?  I was told 'Next Aired' has been depreciated as has AD and to use 'Next Airing Episodes' widget with AB.  That doesn't work at all for me either.  Absolutely nothing displays.

Hope this question is allowed. If not please delete the question. Thank you.  It's from the Silvo 6.1.6 (Leia) skin.  Below is code I copied from the 16x9/Defaults.xml

    <default type="textbox">
        <left>0</left>
        <top>0</top>
        <width>615</width>
        <height>322</height>
        <align>left</align>
        <textcolor>white</textcolor>
        <font>font15_textbox</font>
    </default>

I've found the two screens which uses font15_textbox.  What I can't find is where within the skin uses this block of code to change the font displayed on the screen.   I've searched the skin for "textbox" but this hasn't helped.  I'm trying reading how to use .xml but barely have an understanding at this time. Could someone please point me to where this code is used? thank you.

@lakedaisy

Not sure if I have fully understood, but sounds like you want to change the font in that textbox. If so, have you looked at Font.xml?

Font files are in \addons\skin.aeon.nox.silvo\fonts

Hi Karellen.  I can change the font.  What I meant to say is that font in the piece of code sets the font used in two different areas.  What I would like to do is separate the two areas and use a different font in each.  Right now I can't do that because they are both controlled by this one piece of code.  I'm trying to find out what this piece of code controls (if any) so that I can try to separate them into two different fonts.  thanks for asking.

Ok. Screenshots with the areas you want to modify circled will help. It might not be me that will help out, but maybe others can.

@ brazen1

I'm using nox: Silvo for Kryton on a Windows 10 PC

I'm a novice, but from what I understand, Next Aired displays only 1) TV Shows, 2) TV Shows that you've added to your library, and 3) TV shows that are in your library and currently airing.   If you have those three things, then it should display them.

Artwork Beef alone will work, and I think this skinner has recommended that you use that, and not use Artwork Downloader.  Even when I don't have artwork, my airing shows will display.

Scan some airing shows into your library, add the folders as video sources, and update your library and it should work.  If it still doesn't work, I'm afraid I don't know why.

Thank you Karellen.  I've read that some addons are banned.  I have an addon on my kodi and that is what I am working on.  So please disregard my question.

Hello specialists,

meanwhile I found out most of it myself
my icons on the homescreen above the navigation bar
I could create and work this way too
as I want it. BUT unfortunately these are with a white one
ugly cross underneath the name of the icon. How to get
I have a picture in it, for example, a logo or something.

Request for adding a option in the Infowall view to show landscape.jpg instead of fanart.jpg,

but only the small image on the right side above the description I think this would look very nice, hope you would consider this.

If it's not too complicated since I have no idea what going on behind the curtain I would appreciate the guidance to do it myself.

Thanks this great skin and Merry Christmas to all of you.

Kodi 18 RC2, Latest Skin from Git. The List widget does not display "square poster" properly. screenshot below. It does populate an image if changed to “poster”.  More of an issue is that a program app when launched from that widget seems to execute 7 times with no way to cancel out. Never had that problem in older versions. Thanks for all you do!

Should be fixed on Git. You may need to re-select the widget in the menu customizer but I don't think you will need to.

This was asked before and I started working on a 7+ day view but never finished it. I'll try to work on it sometime in the future.

I don't know if I will add posters or banners though. Will have to think on it...

@Mahava is using the actual guide window. It is not a picture of a Widget. I still need a debug log (wiki) and a copy of your script-skinshortcuts-includes.xml to help you with your next aired widgets issue.

The defaults are the defaults for every control. The default textbox adds those tags to every textbox in the skin. To change the default all you need to do is override it by adding a font or whatever tag to the actual control you want to change.

I'm sorry but I do not know what you mean. Perhaps you can post screenshots to help explain?

Thanks but that looks very similar to what Estuary does and I don't want to copy the look of that skin.

I don't see script.tv.show.next.aired installed in your log file. Is it disabled or not installed?
