Hello ppl,

Iam new here and obviously rocking this skin i do have a question about the buttons from the player.

As you can see the "stop"button is <active/selected> but iam looking to edit the "select/active"colour overlay.
Its a little bit hard to see for my eyes where the selection is at certain moment.
I tried looking in the addon folder and i did found some default color.xmls and a bunch of other button related xml stuff but cant find the specific "overlay" for active/selected.
Perhaps someone can point me to it?
Or perhaps there are other ways to pick another set of maybe more clear buttons in skin already, didn't find?
It must be something xml since it aren't png files right?

 Never mind, found it... decompiled Textures.xbt and recompiled them with my own icons.. 

Just make sure to keep a copy of your textures.xbt file. If the skin updates it gets overwritten by the update.

Is there a way to correct this? Maybe I'm missing a configuration.

 I wachted a recorded ts file, but the preview image is there with different types of content, e.g. streams from DAZN addon or German Sky Go.
I would like to have an option to disable the preview image in the Video OSD, so that you only have the small black line with current time, end time, time's up, remaining time

SiLVO v7.0.1 is updated in Kodi repo with this now disabled by default.

Hey @mikeSiLVO, a while back I pointed out some view settings that work for video but not music (Default/Alternate Layout in TriPanel settings and Small List in LowList settings).

Well, I found another one. The Hide Ratings In List Views setting does not work in the Music versions of the views it is supposed to affect -- TriPanel, List and LowList, according to the help tip. Actually, TriPanel (the music version) as far as I can see doesn't even have ratings. LowList and List do have ratings, but Hide Ratings doesn't affect their display. Always on.

From a little poking around, I found that the Music-related sections of code in the various view XMLs do not have:

...whereas the Video sections do. I'm sure there's more code to it than that, and it is not a big deal, but I was wondering if you plan on matching/catching-up the Music versions of these views with the Video versions feature-wise? It just seems a little inconsistent and misleading, as these settings by their names appear to be global, but actually only apply to video views, and the only way to discover that is to try them in music and find they don't work.

Yeah, that's not gonna be so quick cause the number ratings for videos and the image used for star ratings in music are quite different IMHO. I can make it so that if you do not have a rating for music the grey stars will not appear and reword the setting to be video library only...

Not sure if this is the right place to post, But I am having a difficult time installing any skins. Tried to install the Aeon versions that are in kodi 18.1 but get this error or a version of this every time..
"the dependency on resource.images.recordlabels.whiteversion 0.0.1 could not be satisfied".
Also tried to directly download and install but get the same message. I can install the Husham version of confluence but it dosen't work correctly at all.
I am on a new Linux computer with a new AMD Ryzen™ 5 2400G with Radeon™ RX Vega 11 Graphics processor.
Can I correct this error?

resource.images.recordlabels.white is in the Kodi repo and should install automatically. You would have to post a debug log (wiki) for anyone to know why you are not able to install that dependency.

@mikeSiLVO since @Karellen referenced pvr-nextpvr I got a sample of his file and saw his initial problem and your fix worked for me too.

I am not sure if your aware, but it doesn't look like your skin really supports PVR Radio it treats it more like an audio player so the labels are quite different from other skins I have tried.

I don't have PVR so I have to use the PVR Demo Client and it is limited. I do not see a way to test PVR Radio using it. Do you have any suggestions?

The more I use this skin the more I'm loving it. I have a question and a suggestion.

suggestion - in the music widgets for the main menu where it displays the row of album covers with the album name under them. Perhaps an option could be added to display the artist name? I have a lot of albums that I don't recognize based just off the cover and album title.

question, is there any way to get it to rotate thru random music fanart for songs that have multiple artists? I was listening to an Eminem song feat. Alicia Keys. In the ID3 both artists are named and the track comes up under both artists. But, when I play it I only get fanart for Eminem. If this is even possible, I'm sure it's way more complicated than I'm imagining. I poked around and asked in the Artwork Beef thread even. I could have sworn I've seen this in Kodi months ago. But I don't remember the skin, or if I'm even remembering correctly lol.

I'll take a look for artist name but the fanart for feat artists I have no idea how to add that...

I updated to Kodi 18 today and was happy to see that this is now in the official repo! I was able to update the addon and keep most of my config from Kodi17, I hit one small roadblock, not sure if I found a bug?

When trying to create a widget for Favourites, the submenu in Favourite category is completely empty and only has the two dots..

Unrelated: I haven't had a chance to look yet, but I'm assuming that the same fixes as previous version for the atmos and dtsx custom icons?

Going to need some more info here. A screenshot would also be helpful. Where are the two dots and what is supposed to be there?

Yes atmos and dts-x should be the same mod that I previously posted. Might be different line numbers if I specified them but other than that should be roughly the same.

You would have to be using the Git version cause the repo one has a bundled Textures.xbt file so replacing images wouldn't work also you could just delete the image as well...

The addon doesn't normally create the Infolabels, Kodi does that.  I made this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgQsRVOnl_4&t=221s showing how different skins use the exisiting Info labels for TV Recordings differently both on screen and in the player and radio is similar.  The first 3 minutes shows how NextPVR has to fake Season and Episode info.  into the Program Name to get consistent output, the last 2 minutes show just Kodi defaults.  Live TV and Radio have similar variances.  My offer was to hopefully allow more consistent use of the the labels that are there now.

Aeon Nox5:SiLVO was interesting for me because of the CD image during radio, none of the other skins I tried shows any useful image.

Hello, I have a problem with the movies in bluray. The media flags do not appear in any movie in bluray format (folder structure). I have tried many movies in bluray and different skins and still does not appear the media flags (resolution, codecs, audio, etc). However with mkv video files if they appear correctly. I added the word "BLURAY" in the movie folder but it does not work. How do I have to do it?

Have you tried playing the movie for a few seconds? It shouldn't be necessary, but sometimes it is.

If you have tried a number of skins with the same result, I will have to say it is a problem with the video file.

 Yes, I have tried to play the movie for a few seconds but nothing ... And I have tried 3 or 4 fullblurays with the same result (all with folder structure with BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders).

One thing: When I watch local ts or mkv files with the normal video player, the end time is missing next to the current time. However, in addons it is there.
Can you fix this?
