Hi,
I want to upgrade from Frodo to Helix. Also I do not want xbmc run out at any time or I may have problems, I need a 24x7 system if I do not want big problems... with Children.
So I thought a second installation but I do not want to have to reconfigure everything and besides, I have to go migrating, by now to Gothan (and later to Helix)
I thought the following, tell me if it is correct please:
1. Backup the current installation (xbmc2014)
2. Install of a new frodo in a new folder (xbmc2015)
3. Recovery of backup on the new Frodo, so anything must be exact to the old one.
4. Installing Gothan above the new frodo (xbmc2015)
With this I hope to resolve problems with scrapers and also be ready to pass helix as RC cycle ends.
Is this possible? Do you see any problem with this procedure?
