You could try to remap key_pause to key_space which basically works the same in kodi, but has the added use of pausing/playing the video in the browser.

How should I remap it? Sorry im quite new to Kodi....
I use the official iOS remote control application, AFAIK which is the same as the one that can be used with web browser in port 8080. Can I somehow remap those buttons? Weird thing is that I can only seek the video and change the volume...all from arrow keys of the remote. But when seeking video goes to pause.
