Same problem here. I bet it is because of this PR. As a workaround, you can download curl-7.40-win32.7z, replace the libcurl.dll of your Kodi\system folder and it should work (it works for me).

What worked for me was to set Advanced SSL to 'off' and SSL Connection Type to 'auto.'
This has been frustrating since this add-on continued to work in OS X (Yosemite).
