Updating Chrome to version 44.x and higher still causes a problem. Keeping it at 43.0.2357.132 still works so I have to keep the Google Update service disabled and blocked in my firewall.
My guess is a component of NetfliXBMC has to be updated for a new call/module/component within Chrome.
I am having same issue. unable to downgrade chrome though.
