Return to Gotham 13.2 instead of Kodi ??
#1
Hi guy's
I'm very happy that XBMC/Kodi is being developed. But at the moment I have a little problem. The Hybrid skin is not supported by Kodi and there is no update or alternative at the moment. So I like to wait to do the upgrade to Kodi till some is available. But I have to do a new setup with xbmcbuntu. This has only the 13.0 or 14 version. As soon as I do a ppa update I get Kodi.
How can I still update to 13.2 Huh?

Thanks

Same here. Accidentally ran an update and now I'm on Kodi, which I wasn't wanting yet... All my data is migrated too, so I need a way of getting that back.

You can probably stop the Kodi update before you perform an upgrade like this:

http://askubuntu.com/questions/99774/exc...et-upgrade

And rollback an updated package like this:

Getting your data back, not so easy. If you are using sql and you performed a backup of the database with a mysqldump command, then you can import that dumped database and that may work.
Good luck.

the old DBs should still be there, we never delete them.

That didn't end up working for me. I had to find a xbmc and xbmc-bin .deb files and manually install them.

Renaming the .kodi folder to .xbmc seems to have worked with the old version Smile
