Looking for a way to show advanced bitrate and file information
#1
Is there any way to have xbmc display advanced bitrate and codec information (like codecinfo)? Specifically I would like to see the average audio and video bitrates, similar to the bdinfo tool or the mediainfo tool. I envision the report living somewhere in the movie info page. Even if xbmc couldn't pull this information live, it could pull from a report maybe in the root directory.

I beleive pressing "o" on Your keyboard while playing movie/stream will show codec info on top of Your screen.

Further, some skins have this as a manu item (i.e.Quartz), or in Confluence if I press quickly Stop then Play - same result...

Totally, codecinfo is fantastic but I was looking more for something that would appear for each film much in the same way that some skins have the file type and resolution icons. Here's a rough mockup:

Edit: just realized my mockup is of a "now playing" overlay. Disregard that, I'm looking for something that is shown in the video library.
