Hi,

I downloaded kodibuntu and if I go to the sound settings in kodi and choose HDI ATI HDMI I get some really bad echoes.
However if I use: sudo aplay -D plughw:1,3 <soundfile> to play a sound-file, then there are no echoes at all.

Here is the output of aplay - l:

Moreover if I install ubuntu 14.10 and kodi, then there are no echoes as well, but then I have image problems

So does anyone know how I can fix my sound problem using kodibuntu?

just in case someone else has the same problem. On linux mint rebecca I was able to get the sound and video running. (actually both run out of the box)
