Fanart from FTP Source
#1
I am helping a friend to set up a fresh install of Kodi. We are connectiont to a FTP server with movies complete with NFO-files, posters and fanart. Earlier I hade to add

<ftp>
<remotethumbs>true</remotethumbs>
<remotefanart>true</remotefanart>
</ftp>

to my advancedsettings to get it to work, but in Kodi 14 it doesn't work. Anyone having another solution? Or maybe this is a bug?

can you mount your ftp connection anywhere on your local drive? If your repo can handle it, try this:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mount_FTP

if you were to mount your FTP somewhere, you could add it like any normal source.

I run OpenELEC, any idea if it works in OpenELEC?

I'm having the same problem, works just fine on a updated Openelec install running Kodi 14, same config as above and it scans everything it should, but on a fresh install this config doesn't seem to work anymore, have someone found a fix or workaround?
