Kodi wont install through terminal or nito
#1
Right, I'm getting rather annoyed with this.
ATV2
Macbook Pro (Mavericks)
I've successfully jailbroken my atv, i tried installing Kodi first using nito, it said it had installed but no icon was visible. I restored the atv, jailbroke it again and tried installing using terminal. when i enter the first command i get this message:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that a host key has just been changed.
The fingerprint for the RSA key sent by the remote host is
2b:22:12:3e:25:4c:34:05:70:5b:37:90:84:72:f7:f9.
Please contact your system administrator.
Add correct host key in /Users/_______/.ssh/known_hosts to get rid of this message.
Offending RSA key in /Users_______/.ssh/known_hosts:1
RSA host key for 192.168.0.7 has changed and you have requested strict checking.
Host key verification failed.

I've googled to my hearts content but can't find any similar issues.
Does anyone have a clue whats going on?
Thanks in advance

Do
Code:
sudo rm ~/.ssh/known_hosts
and then try it again.

I get this reply:

WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

Then I'm unable to type anything where the password field is. The server is blocking use of the keyboard

Just type your password and press enter. It's not blocking anything, it's just not showing the letters for security reasons.

I worked it out.
I didn't have a password set on the Mac so it wasn't allowing access. Set a password and now its installed. Thanks for the initial line of code, did just what i wanted.

headsup @ned - no sudo needed for this as its in your users home directory ...
