Sorry if this has been posted somewhere in this thread.

Look at the Amazon Video on Demand plugin from Sebastian S. The following link is to the plugin repo: https://github.com/sualfred/sualfreds-re...79.plugins

I can login and see everything on my account [USA], including an accurate watchlist, seems to work, but using it on OSMC on a PI, I don't have a browser working to view it, but look very promising. To login to amazon using 2-factor authentication, follow this guide: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/...=201962400

Very nice Sebastian S!!!

I have installed the AOD plugin on my Ubuntu 14.04 / 64 bit KODI STB box and it is working except for a couple of things.
Log in automatically works just fine here.

1 - no sound - using MM surround sound 8.1 (or 5.1) sound here.
2 - cannot fill the screen with video. It is off to the left or I can center the browser display in the middle. When I try to open up the browser window to the whole screen it only fills half of the screen with 1/2 of the video.

Looks only to be a minor tweak here. Note this is for using AOD in the US.

I can take pictures of the screen that I see and will post it here if that helps.

Thank you Sebastian S!!!

I had this same issue with Sebestian's app. I got around it by making a script like this:

Code:
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/google-chrome-stable --kiosk --alsa-output-device=plughw:0,7  "$@"
kill %1

Change "plughw:0,7" with your device (use "aplay -l" on cmd line if you don't know it)

In the add-on settings under general tab:

Playback with: Script/Batch
Script path: /path/to/script.sh
Parameter: "{u}" <---- with quotes
Detect Framerate: check
Enable Fullscreen: Uncheck

This worked for me. Crude but works. Now I just need to go programming my remote to be able to pause/rewind/ff Big Grin

Important note: In the Kodi System settings > Audio, you cannot keep the audio alive, it must be off, otherwise the audio driver will be busy and unavailable for chrome.

I can confirm the above plugin works. I'm using the option of using a browser, but I was able to start a movie, and jump to the end. About the only issue is it opens a new window, and doesn't have any obvious way of closing it.

Hi,

Yesterday Amazon Prime Video was released in over 200 new countries. I would love to use your addon to watch Amazon Prime in my country (Spain) but so far only US/UK/DE are supported. Are there any plans to support all those new countries?

Thanks!

This app has been dead for quite some time. There are some workarounds but you will have to read the last 50 or so posts to see them.

With latest kodi version and inputstream it gives me the following error:
ERROR: [Amazon VOD] Cannot complete request. (prs.norights.invalidgeoip)

Hi there
I installed it but it doesn't recognize me.
seems to be a web site problem, since we only have choice for UK/US/DE
Would it be possible to add FR ?
Thanks.

This addon seems dead, no updates and people asking for more countries to be supported with no response.

That is a shame, too bad someone else can't help.

The German dev community has continued development for this over at https://www.kodinerds.net/index.php/Thre...ant-Video/ but that forum is in german. just go to https://github.com/Sandmann79/xbmc for the most recent info for amazon prime usage. also heres the netflix addon info as well, https://github.com/asciidisco/plugin.video.netflix

Those Devs are the ones I am complaining about ignoring peoples requests to add more countries... It's not cool they only care about three countries and no others.

They do this in their spare time and for free.
