Yesterday I installed Kodibuntu 14.0 on a 32-bit PC (AMD +3200). I can login to Lubuntu without problems. When booting into Kodi the splash screen appears and after that the screen becomes dark (auto-login is actived). If I switch to another session (Ctrl/Alt/F1), login at the command line, stop and start lightdm the login GUI appears and I can login to Kodi.
What I have done so far:
(1) Reinstalled lightdm and lightdm-gtk-greeter
(2) Created a symlink /usr/bin/lightdm poiniting to /usr/sbin/lightdm
(3) Installed lxdm as display manager. Here I have to login and again the screen becomes dark.
Now I don't know what else I could try to get the screen for Kodi.
