Can one use 2 portable versions (installed / stored in 2 different folders) of Kodi on the same system / hard disk without effecting the other one?

Yes, on my test pc I've 5 versions of xbmc/Kodi installed.

OK, thank you very much. And I assume, I just can install the second portable version the same way I did with the first one, so install it to a special folder and make a link to it and add the -p switch to the link.

Yep, just install to a different folder, then exactly the same as you did before.
