Subtitles storage on Shared database
#1
Hello!

So I have a server running Kubunto and the latest version of kodi.

Then I have a raspberry PI running the latest version as well. They both are using the servers shader folders using a central SQL DB.

Before (not sure if on previous versions of XBMC or since I have the MySQL DB - I believe the latter) when I downloaded a subtitle on one of the media centers, it was available on the other. Now it does not store the subtitles not the video folder.

I have the location of subtitle settings on: next to video

Is this a known bug? is it only my problemm?
could it be something to do with the SQL?

Thanks for helping.

SQL has little to do with subtitles. Subtitles are not stored in the database but (usually) in the same folder as the movie.
There probably is a setting in the subtitle add-on where to save downloaded subtitles. The best location is next to the movie imho.
I think all righthtinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.

Fixed it.. Was a shared folder permissions issue.. Was read only..
