Another "Kodi has stopped working", and this one was made just as it was back in the days.

To make it crash i started a TvShow episode, then i opened Yatse app on my smartphone and navigated to the "Now Playing" screen (basically is the second screen when you swipe left from the app's main screen) and "dang" Kodi crashed.

Also like it's been said in this thread it takes forever for it to shut down, and a guesstimate is that on my side 25% of the time it never shuts down, and crash in some way, all without making a crashlog.

Yet another crash made this way. But after the upgrade i don't make the *.dmp file anymore.

EDIT: Not sure if it made a crashlog, this seems to be an older one.

I just noticed that it said the same as last time i uploaded one, but i should be using the final release.
Also why it's not making the *.dmp file right? Because we don't add the "kodi.dmp" manual anymore right?

EDIT: Anyway i just re downloaded the newest 14.2 and installed it. See if it get the error once more. Pretty sure it's not fixed since i got it twice since it should have been fixed, and looked like it was.

I'm crashing constantly, I've not made any major changes recently and have loaded to a previous working configuration with no success. Still crashes on startup and exit almost every time.

I am using Kodi 14.2 Helix, and for the last 2 days it started to crash every time I play a stream video, mainly a live channels, maybe it last few minutes then stops, my TV box has Android v 4.1 therefore, I can't use Kodi 15 which required v4.2 or higher, please help.

Add-on example: Shani and Zeus.

Zeus is an addon, which is on the list of banned addons, so no support here.
Also never heard about Shani. Do other, official plugins of the kodi repo play the video streams? Also why not ask the addon authors first, since this is no known problem of the 14.2 release?

Thanks MasterPhW for your answer, first I thought it is a Kodi 14.2 problem since 2 adds on started to have the problem in the same time, second, would you please suggest a supported add on with live TV to test it.

Where can i get a copy of the 14.2 download file? Been using 15.1 and not happy at all with it. I can not use Aeon MQ5 skin. Please advice as i can not find anywhere to download it from.

Look at the top of this forum page and you will see the DOWNLOAD link.

Click that link then scroll down the bottom of the page. The penultimate section is "Old Versions". Click into there and you should be able to find what you are looking for.
