Kodi stickers!

Quote:There's evidently a case for both transparent and white background - I'd probably lean towards the latter if it was a choice of just one, but would be happy with either.

1" transparent would be good, or a circle cut out for a white background. I need six.

Would also be very cool if it could have a metallic silver reflecting background instead of a simple white background behind the logo.

I love this idea. Maybe something similar to the LimeTech stickers. Intel and Corsair are also very nice with their metallic tags. No doubt all of these would have a higher cost, but I'd be willing to pay extra.

I'll donate $10 to the foundation if I can get two 1" or so Kodi stickers for my HTPCs. Smile

Something similar to the stickers you get when making PC.

Like the ones on latop that says Nvidia, or Powered By Intel, or if you make desktop, sometimes its the powersupply too

We could have both types - sticker with background + lettering (like all the nvidia, intel, ... ones on notebooks) and a cutout one which comes in blue (for light backgrounds) and white (for dark backgrounds).

Count me in! Smile I would prefer a white background though and - as mentioned by kindrudekid - a smaller sticker.

Totally transparent: http://kodi.wiki/view/File:Thumbnail-sym...parent.png

White background: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xbmc/[email protected]

I'd quite like a transparent one for a car or window or something.

IMO the blue transparent stickers won't show well on car windows. Blue and gray tend to blend with tinted glass and dark interiors. The white background would make them much more visible.

I think the first batch will be 1x1 K logos with the white background and rounded corners. We have a linux convention where Kodi will have a booth on the weekend of Feb 19th (SCaLE: Southern California Linux Expo. Come meet us!) and I want to make sure we have stickers to hand out there. We'll probably do a bulk big enough to hand out and send out to people over the internet (for some small fair price or whatever. They only cost about 20 cents a sticker to make).

Then we'll build up a "sticker fund" and start doing all these different ideas. The case badges, the domes, big stickers, smaller stickers, "kodi inside" type badges, totally transparent, hell maybe even one of those funny henna temporary tattoos. If there's a demand, we'll do our best to fulfill it :D

I was on the fence about getting a Chromebox, but if I could get a Chromebox AND slap a Kodi sticker on it, I'm there!

So... a sticker about 1mm bigger all round than the google sticker that is on the chromebox. Might as well cover it up and do it properly LOL.

We're ordering stickers today for the SCALE Expo. Basic idea is a 2x2 sheet that has four stickers on it:

Something like that. One big Logo + KODI and three smaller K logos. When rotated, the smaller K logos are 1 inch high.

Thoughts?

looks good - note entirely sure about the background gradient on the smaller ones - but it might work out

edit: would be cool if the smaller ones would cover the apple logo on a powerbook Wink
