Hi,

I've been wanting to contribute code to xbmc/kodi for a long time, and I see the removal of support of the Broadcom Crystal HD as a good opportunity to dive into it.

I have one of these cards at home, and was using it happily until Helix, where support seems to have been removed. I think I can manage with the coding tasks that might be needed, and also have some experience with kernel module writing.

Could anyone give me some directions into which parts are missing?
