Thanks for your replies. Everything plays well, so I am not attempting to over-clock to improve video performance.
I remember when I had my RPi1, the GUI turned from dreadful to rather snappy by over-clocking. The RPi2 is probably at the same level already, but nothing close to the snappiness compared to a proper CPU. I was hoping that over-clocking may improve the GUI snappiness.
