I did a terminal upgrade of my XBMClive Gotham 13.1 system but the system boot screen still says "XBMC Mediacenter". The program startup screen does say "Kodi 14.1". I'm wondering if I did something wrong in the upgrade? I have seen others with the kodi boot screen with the rotating logo on the left.

I get the same thing: XBMC at startup, followed by a brief Kodi screen. At shutdown I get the XBMC shutdown screen with the "countdown dots" too.

the boot splash is not related to the kodi package/program.
