Windows 10 Pro ARM64 Build?
#1
Has anyone built Kodi for snapdragon 835 as used in Always Connected PC's using Visual Studio 2017 latest preview?
Today I built a rather large commercial MFC extension library for WOA ARM64 native and it runs fine. Had to change 3 little lines of code-2 to properly detect CPU, 1 to exclude a lib(dependency) not even used, but not available on WOA-64.

I am not familiar with the build process used by Kodi to assess if it is as simple as setting architecture, compiler and search paths.
I may attempt to build it myself tomorrow afternoon and just wondered if maybe someone beat me to it?

I own a HP Envy X2 so I can run the app. I much prefer a natively compiled app to an emulated x86 version since it will run faster/smoother and provide much better battery life and user experience.......emulation is just a temporary stopgap until/if devs start building for WOA natively. Gotta start somewhere. The only other native ARM64 app I have found is VLC.

Thanks
