Please keep in mind, that "Kodi" is a registered trademark here in Germany, in use of a grocery store. This could cause trouble.

Even if they have an objection, that alone doesn't mean there is a legal/trademark issue. If it were up to most companies then no one would ever be allowed to use any name even remotely close to theirs, even if it was perfectly legal according to trademark law. Heck, I bet you if you asked "KODi" they would also tell you they would like to be the only ones allowed to call themselves a store, as that would be good for business.
