I was having a lot of issues with Kodibuntu crashing, not booting, kernel panic errors, etc. So I reverted backed to the XBMCBuntu 13 (which is/was rock solid on my system) and just updated to Kodi that way. Only thing is the startup loading dialog says XBMC still.

Was wondering if anyone new if I could replace this with the Kodibuntu one and if so where is it stored on the hard drive?

You need a new plymouth theme.
