Strange one here. I have been using ubuntu and xbmc for years now with no issues. Since upgrading to kodi 14.1 (may just be a coincidence and another update package cased this) but when ever I turn off my TV or av receiver and on again, kodi seems to have lost fullscreen. It is not in windowed mode, it's just that the unity gui and top panel is on top. I have tested and have confirmed it happens whenever the TV or av receiver is turned off and on again. I can't work out why ad I thought my pc (zotac ion) doesn't support and cec type functionality.
I have a zotac ion pc connected to a yamaha av receiver going to my Samsung tv (if that helps)
