Title taken form this thread http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=217694 have the same issue with IPTV Client. I was using the VU+ Add-on but enigma2 only uses title, subtitle and description, so i added channels to m3u playlist and got my EPG from webgrabplus so it has the category in it as you see in the code below

And it shows as genre on Kodi


But i never have colour genres, so is there anyway of me fixing this or do i have to just go without colour genres?

Never mind having read through some of the old threads i see there was plans to have Kodi translate category into genre type but it seem to never happen or is still being worked on
