Ok rather than split the forum how about an adjustment to the available thread prefixes, perhaps add a Alpha prefix and a Beta prefix to give a better indication of status, then as a guide the appropriate prefixes would be something along the lines of:

Concept - mockups
WIP - development has started no public release
Alpha - early release where not all the windows are complete
Beta - all windows are complete so remaining work is bug fixing and making layout adjustments etc
Release - skin is near completion or complete

+1 - a new sticky indicating what the above prefixes mean would also be helpful for clarification.

sure, i'll add the alpha/beta prefixes.

i'll think about having a sticky for it.
maybe we can combine this info with the guidelines jurialmunkey is suggesting.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.

Take into account that prefixes are FORUM wide, so keeping them usable for multiple subforums makes sense.
+1 on the proposed change.
