how to make .nfo files for .iso files
#1
Hi,
I have several .iso files, each one in a separated folder. Is there a way to create .nfo file in each folder and after that kodi automatically detect movie name, year, cast etc.
For example one of folders is named 'cloud' which contains an .iso file named cloud_3d.iso. I've placed a 'cloud_3d.nfo' file inside 'could' directory and putted this info inside 'cloud_3d.nfo' file:

<movie>
<title>Clouds 3D: First Episode</title>
</movie>

but kodi seems do not detect the title and just shows 'cloud' in the list.

Thanks

Why create the nfo files manually? After scraping use the setting to export the library into individual folders. It will create nfo files which you can edit.

I've removed the movie source and added it again and change its content to Movies.
Now works fine as expected.

alternatively use Mediaelch to grab Nfo files before you scan into your Kodi instalation
