Help with Kodi 14.4

Hi Guys,

Absolute novice with Linux, Ubuntu etc..
I have an Asus EEEbox 1501P PC which i would like to situate at the rear of my TV and use as a media centre with KodiBuntu 14 64bit installed.
I get an error after installation saying error: diskfilter writes are not supported Press any key to continue. It boots to loading after i press Enter. I have searched Google and found one answer but been a noob i do not know how to enter the code!?

My other issue is that when i am installing add-ons, most do not display anything like movies or tv shows?

Is there not a noob guide to fully setting it up?

I am not experienced with working with Linux, Ubuntu etc. so have not a clue where to start to enter code to fix the error.
