Dolby Atmos is Bed audio and Sound objects with metadata for surround panner. The Bed audio is commonly Dolby TrueHD. Kodi can decode this to LPCM. It cannot process the Object audio stream or the metadata.
It seems that my previous post might not have been clear. What I meant by "the stream in Atmos" is the Dolby TrueHD stream.
