One issue I've had, which isn't a bug but more of a setup question, is using the headphone in the remote or controller with Kodi. I'm using pass through of course, so the Denon can decode my streams, but obviously plugging in the stereo headphones into the remote leads to ear bleed. I need to do two things to use headphones - one is to disable pass through, the other is to go to the shield audio settings and disable fixed or CEC audio output and set to variable, then set volume low so every stream doesn't blast me when I change "channels". This strikes me as a great candidate for a single button or adaptive setup, but it's actually across two setups so I'm not optimistic. Anyone have any suggestions for making this less work? I'm suspecting the solution is more about a wireless headset to the Denon, which completely sidesteps the issue nicely but would obviously involve more spending.
