NVIDIA Shield (Android TV set-top box)
KODI has:

Faster menu's, much better support. M$ just keeps killing off features like the WMC Netflix app, they are also doing away with Silverlight and WMC itself is not even in Windows 10. KODI keeps adding features.

I'm not stuck with an Xbox 360 as my extender as with WMC on Windows 8. Let's face it extender support under WMC sucks as no extender supports bluray ISOs.

Built in TCP control protocol is another thing WMC lacks.

I don't need to buy a software bluray player with KODI either, and the included player is much smoother than Arcsoft TMT 5 and 6 under WMC. The player just works and starts playing bluray ISOs in 2-3 seconds over the network , and has no jitter at all with the Shield.

What's lacking with the SATV though is bitstream audio and 3d support. I think both will come this year. At that point I will buy three more Shields to run KODI.

[quote='fox123' pid='2075551' dateline='1439179591can you give a little more detail of the difference between your WMC and Shield using Kodi? what is your WMC spec and how is Shield better?
