I doubt we will see ever MVC on Shield. What legal content is available? 3D prosumer cameras are harder to find than hen's teeth.
On TV Samsung has 3D MVC playback (mkv from USB) but ,,degraded" with new TV generations. Maybe content owners had a talk with them...
