From all I've read, I've come up with 2 options:
1. PNY Elite-X 32GB microSDHC Card with Adapter-UHS-I, U3 - up to 90MB/sec (P-SDU32U390EX-GE) - I don't have read/write speeds reference, i just saw @Tinwarble reommended it for adopted storage... still waiting his reply about speeds.

2. SanDisk Extreme 32GB microSDHC UHS-I Card with Adapter (SDSQXVF-032G-GN6MA) - For a model version before this one i found the following speeds as adopted storage:

55 MB/s read
28 MB/s write

Which of the two should i go with? Any other microsd recommendation that you guys have tested in deph as adopted storage would be appreciated.

My use case will be Plex Server, SPMC, retro gaming, android games, music and Linux Deploy or similar to run a lite linux distro within Android TV.

I know you're only interested in micro SD, but an SSD through USB 3.0 is a lot better in my opinion.

I recently upgraded from using a 64GB micro SD card for expanded storage to a 128GB SSD. I purchased a cheap SSD for $39.99 (Canadian) and a $5 Onico 2.5" SATA to USB 3.0 adapter.

I went from around 59MB/s read + 13MB/s write on the class 10 micro SD card to 153MB/s read + 151MB/s write on the SSD through USB 3.0.

tested read/write speeds using Disk Speed Test app.
