As long as the old one gets updated to kit kat (like the new one has) i dont really see any reason to go with the new one then, might as well wait for people to dump the older hardware for cheaper and pick that up. Personally, I like the larger footprint as itll look nicer with my other av equipment and itll keep the SD ability in the cheaper version. Im going to use a harmony hub remote anyway, so while the voice remote is nice to get free itll never get used. My concern is them intentionally refusing to update the older version to force you to get the newer hardware.
