Tablet friendly interface?
#1
I've been playing around with web interfaces on my tablet to integrate with my home automation software. So far I haven't found one that works well on a tablet. I'm using an embedded web browser page on my home automation software for this. Anyone have any suggestions for a tablet friendly web interface?

YARC is made for touch interfaces, although focus on small screen devices like a mobile phone.
if navigating trough menues is important to you, then you might like the touch field (like a touch pad), where you can navigate and play/pause etc with gestures.
in the next version (not released/uploaded yet) you also can jump to specific positions in a playing media (roughly similar to the "playing now"-bar in a media player.
the quite new feature to navigate with the device Orientation is maybe not suited for tablets (simply don't turn it on)
i got never feedback from a tablet user, so it would be very nice to have an opintion from a user.

you can find it more about yarc in this thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=198217

i imagine chorus is well too.
Check out my plugin yarc, it's a web-remote optimised for all screen sizes (especially touch and small screen).
