Even with Epson 5040UB, the new eShift 4K PJ I'm considering, I was being told @ AVSForum that 150" (scope screen however) was too big. Seating distance makes a difference for sure, as does PQ, as does screen. If I get this PJ, I'll likely experiment on a white wall, then only decide on screen size, as well as scope vs. 16:9.
I've been on AVSForum for years. Many of the people are a little too stuffy if you ask me. Its only too big if you think its too big.
