Disabled the setting in the hardware section of the Systems window. rolled back the driver using DDU to 385.45 and then restarted the machine and let it set idle over night. Turned it on this morning and checked the driver update log from the device manager and noticed that it auto updated to 388.13 again 15 minutes after I walked away from the machine for the night. Like WTF how can I prevent this so I can just enjoy my HDR content?(2017-11-18, 05:43)Talguy Wrote: Is anyone experiencing that the nvidia drivers are being forced to update to 388.13. I had version 385.41 installed and experienced it automatically being updated without the software informing me three times tonight. each time it happened I was in the middle of a movie. I know 385.41 is the best driver to use for enabling and disabling HDR content and I want to stay on it. can anyone tell me what I need to do to prevent the drivers from updating besides disabling the auto download feature in Geforce Experience?https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=229692&page=22
I have it set up this way and it never updates graphic drivers on its own.
