Is there a confirmed bug with the aspect ratios? In this version stretch 16 9 is not working and even setting to 4:3 and zooming to 1.35 doesn't work either and that used to fill the screen as well. Used that with 3d to not mess up the picture.

Whenever I start a movie it starts black. When I skip or hit pause the actual picture appears. I have this issue for a while now, updating MadVR and Nvidia drivers didn change anything. Has anyone ever experienced this? It becomes rather annoying with time...

so a paid for version of kodi that uses mpc-hc as external player and "configures everything for you?"    uhhh.  I'm not paying for free software just so I can have someone else configure things for me according to what "they" think is best for my computer setup.

Windows 10 Professional (x64) Version 2009 (build 19042.572)
Install Language: English (United States)
System Locale: English (Australia)

MPC-BE 64 Bit and MPC-HC 64 Bit were displaying colour distortion - washed out colours playing Blu-rays ripped with MakeMKV.

Before the Windows update, the colours were correct. I uninstalled both players.

PotPlayer 64 Bit works correctly.

If others are experiencing similar issues, PotPlayer may be worth trying.

There is the 17.7 release (on this forum) that was released earlier this year. I can confirm that it has solved some annoying bugs that were in 17.6.

Hi everyone,
Juste wondering does anyone have been able to play 4k HDR10 60fps movies (really juste only two movies on the market today) with Kodi Dsplayer and Madvr as software ? It's been all laggy for me however standard 4k HDR10 are playing just fine. Might be a gpu limitation too. But just want to adknowledge it's possible before maybe upgrading.

For those interrested i have a ryzen 5 3600 and a GPU 1030 and yes i can play 4k HDR 10 files which are for some of them above 80mb/s bittrate with pgs subbtitles .

Sorry if you burned your eyes while reading english is not my mother tongue. But i'll be happy to read your answers

Manufacturer's Technical Specifications:

https://www.techpowerup.com/cpu-specs/ry...3600.c2132

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/gra...fications/

Maximum Digital Resolution - 7680x4320@60 Hz

The hardware is adequate, maybe a Kodi Dsplayer issue.

I am experiencing Kodi Dsplayer lag issues playing MakeMKV 1080P Bluray rips, using a 3.50 gigahertz Intel Core i5-4690, HD Graphics 4600.

VLC 64 Bit and PotPlayer 64 Bit work perfectly.

I cannot help you with Kodi Dsplayer.

You can confirm your hardware is working correctly using PotPlayer 64 Bit. The player is madVR capable.

I will try later this week your setup, i'm using Kodi Dsplayer because it have Plex addons and i consider it user frendly. Some precision i am direct playing all my file and Madvr with HDR passthrough. I was asking for my GPU because i'm seeing very high vram usage when playing standard 4k HDR10 file well it's full.
Can toi confirm a verry high usage of vram by Madvr ?

Thanks for advices
