Do these installers auto-update to the latest version of each application or do I have to recreate the installer each time a new version of the software is released?

It depends on your programming skills.

Normally with innosetup you bundle each file/executable in the final installer setup.
So you have to download each update and recreate the installer.
But you can also create a script/program that download the latest release of each file and install them.
The problem with this solution is that it can break your installer if something change like the download url.
The madvr download url is always the same but not the other ones.

I can't say more about it since I am not a scripter/programmer.

I'm a bit lazy and use K-lite codec pack. Nothing wrong to use codec pack if you know what you're doing. Copy & paste configured filters & media config and you're done. It doesn't include xysubfilter but has xyvsfilter. But I use xyvsfilter anyway so it is perfectly fine by me.

No need to create more codec pack installer because lavfilters & madvr is in very active development stage. Let those who dedicated their time to create & update their codec do the job. Or let user decide what they want to install & use.

I run it but nothing happens
It gives me the dsplayer options by it does not work
It works only with the xvid videos but not with H264
What i am missing?
I have to install some additional programs like ffdshow - madvr - lav etc?

Can you pls give further infos?

Salaminomachos, you have to install lavfilters and madvr at least.

If you have a not too bad graphic card, the difference is just spectacular.

I tried to create a little custom installer.
But I have some problems to enable madvr in kodi automatically.
I paste a custom guisettings.xml with correct value to the appropriated destination.
But when I open kodi madvr is not enabled and the guisettings.xml file has been reset.
Maybe a permission error? Why it doesn't parse the file and reset it? I will go crazy!

But the TV's screen becomes blue and white

Yes , the screen's blue and white colours diasppeared but the problem still exists
When i choose a movie , it does not allow me to run the video
I open the folder and i see the options ( play-stop-resume etc) , then the movie does not start and the screen stucks

in your userdata folder you need dsplayer folder with 3 xml files inside,

filterconfig.xml
shaders.xml
mediasconfig.xml

Do you have files there?

Yes, your playcorefactory is fine, playcorefactory.xml go in userdata folder, same level guisettings.xml.

I think that everything is correct there

Yes , In, settings, videos, dsplayer, i selected madvr as video renderer
But nowhere shows the lav filters
