The file you played is mpls file not mkv. It's not supported by DSPlayer mediaconfig. Try convert it to mkv to make it works.

If I understand correctly, you're saying that DSPlayer mediaconfig not support .ISO file and / or folder structure BDMV / CERTIFICATE, if so this really did not know it, in fact those movies will not play in DSPlayer come from rip BD 1:1 format .ISO

Unfortunately that is the case. BD ISO / File structure is not supported by DSPlayer. Your best workaround is using external player like TMT or PowerDVD to play those file. Or you can use MakeMKV to convert these file to MKV you'll lose menu & stuff but the movie will play fine.

For the madVR scaling algorithms the DSPlayer Profile Group seems to overwrite whatever existing settings were under the root folder effectively clearing them:

e.g. through MPC-HC:

Then playing through Kodi:
Image

Whatever changes I make to scaling just defaults back e.g. chroma upscaling defaults to bicubic75 even though I set it to 100 (when playing through Kodi)

Problem exhibits on two separate PC's both running Windows 10 x64 if that makes any difference

Thanks, I'll try to figure it out too, I ask, this limitation also applies to External player MPC-HD and you're aware of a NFS client for Windows for use with Kodi DSPlayer
thanks again.

I'm not sure about MPC-HD but commercial one like TMT & PowerDVD should works fine. I don't have any BD ISO in my collection anyway. All BDISO was converted by makemkv to mkv format and all plays fine.

What's wrong with Samba? I stopped using NFS long time ago. Even with Linux server I'm still using samba for Kodi. With DSPlayer is windows based , I doubt you'll get significant improvement if switch to NFS or at all.

Can you post a debug log (with "fast channel switching" enabled) ?
Did you enabled "UNC(=SMB) paths for Live TV"?

(2015-09-21, 16:01)Bjur Wrote: Regarding the profile. I am using load from madvr active profile, so if I uninstall Kodi I still have the profiles in madVR. But is it possible to use a specific madVR profile for only TS which I think it's using and lower the madVR profile only on this LiveTV and everything else higher profiles? if I read the description above I can't use that for this specific scenario.

http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=12...ostcount=3
It is possible...:
MediaPortal LiveTV RTSP path: rtsp://Domain:554/stream*
MediaPortal LiveTV UNC path: \\DOMAIN\TimeShift\live*.tsbuffer

Thanks for the answer roma. I have enabled UNC path for live tv.
log is here:

Regarding the last example I'm not skilled enough to make a it work for this specific scenario.

PS. I have tried teletext and it is not working. It should be working with tsreader.

I am also of the opinion that Samba is a great networking protocol, only NFS say it is more powerful as the network protocol to do streaming, with a Popcorn Hour A-410 I use only without installing any NFS Client NFS, just wondering if this knew what good client to be tested with Kodi. In your HaneWin NFS Server you can 'do the job?

It make sense if you're using Android / Linux or those media player which most likely based on embedded linux core. NFS mightgave better noticable improvement over samba. But then DSPlayer is windows-only so I'm not sure about any major improvement if you goes NFS way.

I only used Hanewin in the past. Can't recommended others. And now I switched my server to Win10 x64 so samba is most logical way in my usage.

In the past only situation that Samba performs bad was when used Ubuntu-based distro as server. Samba on Ubuntu was much inferior to NFS. Not sure if it improved lately. Other linux distro gave much better results though.

Is someone using Mediaportal TV server with multiple streams at a time? I can only get 1, so if I make a recording and want to see another channel it doesn't work. Where can I change that in TV server. I have 2 x HDHomerun tuners.

It's seems that mediaportal failed to tune a new channel on channel switching.

Maybe your card doesn't support fast channel switching.

Guide: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid1966593

Rules:
LiveTV: rtsp streams or timeshift files *.tsbuffer
Recordings: rtsp streams or *.ts files

Code:
if (filePath == "*rtsp://*") or (fileExt == "tsbuffer") or (fileExt == "ts")  "MediaPortal PVR profile" else "Normal profile"

I don't have teletext , so i can't test this.

Thanks for the answer. I have HDHomeruns and Terratec H7. What about multiple streams recordings? Do you have that and can perhaps point me to where I should looks to set it up correct?
