Hi,

It appears that in the Kodi MediaPortal client, it checks if a recording is scheduled, and if so, displays the notification when the recording starts and stops.

It doesn't seem to get the timing quite right, but more importantly, if a particular episode has been cancelled, the notification is still shown.

Do yo need logs for this? If so, I can provide them. Would be good to get confirmation, and then I will file a bug report.

I know. Kodi shows the notifications based on the cached timer data. So it might be off.
The current PVR addon is passive (no background thread that listens for notifications from the backend) so I don't have a mechanism available right now to force a timer list refresh when you cancel a schedule at the TVServer side.

The only way to properly solve this is to add a separate thread that listens for notifications.
