Hi Jin!

Rytec EPG was changed in the autumn so the keywords for each link changed and they started using .xz compression i place of .gz compression.
At first of January 2018 Rytec started to use only .xz files!

I can see that your version service.rytecepgdownloader 17.10.20 that you try to take care of .xz compression, but I can't get i to work with Kodi 17.6 on Windows 10

Kodi uses python < 3.3 and the backports is not found on my system.

What am I missing?

I have put a link of my version of service.rytecepg.downloader here:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vqYpk9...57e_sohJ43

In this version I find all the new keywords and makes i possible to enter them in the setup.xml file

You will have to install/compile backports.Lzma for windows but dont ask me how. https://pypi.python.org/pypi/backports.lzma
I've only tested it once on ubuntu.

Hi!

I did not succeed with the installation of backports, but I have added the use of 7-zip on Windows and 7-zip or xarchiver on Ubuntu.
look at the changelog.txt for requirements.
