i love a program that is in the kodi/old xbmc git hub that lets you pull fake info from the tv db. Then have it be in the tv tab of kodi
this is good for making youtube videos about kodi if you are like me and do not have a lot of tv content. So i was wondering is there a program or app that can do this for movies

so there is no app that can do this then

If you have the movie, or even the trailer or a dummy video file named as the movie, Kodi will scrape it. Check out 'Stub' files which allow movie disks into the library, there maybe be an associated add-on or script somewhere. If you're just trying to inject false meta-data, for what purpose? Use file mode.
