I tried VU+ on osmc (kodi V15) and a Dreambox 800SE... I have the message "connexion lost" every 10 seconds. Is anybody here who have tried ?

How well can Pi handle a interlaced feed (50i)? My Amazon fire TV isn't doing so well. Its perfect on my Chromebox, but I'm look for a cheeper solution for my bedroom.

DM500s uses old Enigma and won't work.
You can share tuner on the box with vtuner and use tvheadend with pvr.hts addon instead.

Do you know where get the vtuner from for a DM500HD (OpenPLI image) ?
I'm trying to setup my OpenPLI DM500HD as a vtuner server for a tvheadend installation.

Updated: After much searching found that using minisatip on the DM500HD worked :-) - tvheadend found the SAT>IP Server and were able to scan.
