I'm hoping that someone can help me build a custom fork of SPMC. I've been kicking myself in the head trying but I really don't have any experience in it so I keep having issues.

What would be your part of the job, then?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
