Release Red Bull TV
#31
Ok, so, I had a play about and have written a basic plugin: "Redbull TV2".

It's very much function over form, doesn't even have an icon. I may "fancy" it up in the future but for now, it works and I can watch the WRC this weekend more easily Wink

Download the plugin on github: https://github.com/nedge2k/kodi.plugin.video.redbulltv2

Updated to 0.0.2 - fixed scheduled event issue, added icon/fanart

Error opening Redbull TV2 v0.0.2 whenever category I choose (check the log file) on Android FTMC 16.1 build 24
#35
...and what is the error in the log?

It works fine on Kodi v17 for Android so maybe it's some kind of fork issue.
#36
i had an error entering in "past events" but i can't reproduce. it was a one time error i suppose.
are live feeds available? i haven't understood if they are available krypton rc2 nightly and windows 10

If you can't reproduce it, it's generally an API error. I noticed it returns server error 500 occasionally.

The FTMC issue might be down to it using an older version of python and me using some functions/methods that are only in 2.7.x

The layout of the Apple TV API is more like a web page than a data stream so things aren't that well organised. Any time you see "watch now", that's a live stream. You should be able to watch scheduled live streams under the events schedule folder.

Updated to 0.0.3 - this should fix issues for people running forks that use python 2.6 (tested and working in SPMC on Android 7)

Let's move all discussion of my plugin to here: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=309457
