i try wsnipex variant but i get from linux (line: sudo add-apt-repository -r ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly)

add-apt-repository: error: no such option: -r

Try:

sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly
sudo apt-get remove kodi*
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kodi

instead of the "-r" I used "--remove"...be aware that there are 2 "-" before the "remove"

I too am trying to downgrade from 15.1 to 14.2 by following this guide, I followed it to the letter but still having dependency issues. I am on Ubuntu 14.04. if I try to apt-get install each dependency that then complains about a dependency. If I do apt-get -t install that just takes me back to Kodi 15.1. Any help would be appreciated.
