Just checking - Download speeds.

Trying to grab a fresh windows install for 14.2 Helix from kodi.tv. It's coming in at a whopping, mind-snapping 29.2 KB/sec... EEK!. It's only 68M... Central Texas, TWC, 100M download (I can usually hold actual downloads close to 9MB/sec once translated from bits to bytes).

It is just running in the background but seemed rather curious to me. Very low priority issue but thought I might say something.

Which mirror are you being pointed at?
You can usually see this in the downloads tab of your browser by looking at the address of the download

I didn't look to be honest...

Tried it again and got the download link: http://mirror.lstn.net/kodi/releases/win...-Helix.exe

Same results BTW... Actually worse, right now 13.2KB/sec... Bleh... estimated 1.2 hours remaining... I got it earlier without much issue, just let it run, but this seems bad on anyone's scale.

Cannot confirm, must be something on your end. Getting approx. 3MB/sec. from that mirror.

Me neither anymore, they must have fixed it or something between us last night. I just did it again and it was over 9M/sec. It blinked and was done. Opened up another browser on another computer to confirm it wasn't cached. So somewhere between 20:30 last night and 03:20 today the problem was resolved. Someone probably rebooted something somewhere... If it was the mirror, they probably were working on the problem for some time, but I suspect it was something in between. Either way, 'tis better now.

I was getting terrible download speeds too. But I'm in Australia and the mirror was http://mirror.overthewire.com.au/xbmc/re...-Helix.exe, so I tried your mirror and had the file almost instantly... weird.
