I just purchased this and i cant seem to get anything to work,

I can only access certain things if i am on wifi, wont browse when i plug in my ethernet cable.
When using WIFI, continually stuck on working, nothing seems to update.

I thought this would be a plug and play system, think i read somewhere to update everything, but i cant find the section to update.

I have changed my region settings to uk, but still no avail.

Any initial steps to help me get basic started would be a help thanks
